Another example of how important attention to UI details is for #multiplatform apps. @wongmjane/1182669468440367105

Related to sharing UI SwiftUI says "Share code between apps on multiple platforms with views and controls that adapt to their context and presentation." But even it doesn't adapt perfectly At least they have access to all the teams involved.
-
Similarly with Flutter, at least they have access to all the Android/Material teams for Material Widgets. I don't trust them with Cupertino widgets. And I wouldn't trust third-party UI sharing solutions is anything. Unless, of course, it's all custom UI like for games.

Yes, Electron apps and any other web app running in a container that's not an actual browser counts as 3rd party @sandofsky/1182708787741724672?s=09

Or for custom animations/graphics. In which case I trust airbnb.design/lottie/ and github.com/uber/cyborg and other tooling (not UIs widgets) to make it easier to share the delightful stuff.

Honestly wish twitter picked the lottie link for the preview. So doubling down since I love lottie so much airbnb.design/lottie/
