Kotlin Multiplatform has been around for a couple years and things have been evolving rapidly. Thought it's been stabilizing it's hard to find what's best practice. We hear a lot abut out of date docs, samples, missing libraries, configuration and threading issues. #TouchlabShare

In response to all of these things we (@TouchlabHQ) put together KaMP Kit with everything configured out of the box. We want you to be able to get started experimenting quickly so you can focus on how it can apply to your use case. #TouchlabShare

We tried to tune it so you can get ahead of the curve. Commonly-needed dependencies (ktor, sqldelight, multiplatformsettings, etc), latest versions, current best practices. #TouchlabShare

Dependency injection setup uses the latest version of #koin that is multi-threaded-safe. @TouchlabHQ's Kotlin Xcode plugin is also included for iOS engineers to get used to Kotlin from Xcode #TouchlabShare

A lot of clients ask us how to integrate with their existing code. We included brief documentation on integration. And we've been able to leverage KaMP Kit to integrate with client work. We hope you'll be able to leverage it too. #TouchlabShare

For more examples of putting KMP into production @kpgalligan is taking the mike. #TouchlabShare

Some people won't be persuaded unless they see KMP working in their production stack. Integrating anything into production is hard and it gets even harder if Android folks are trying to work on iOS alone, or iOS folks are thrown into Android Studio #TouchlabShare

Recruit people from Android and iOS and other engineers as necessary (e.g. build and release engineers) to try KaMP Kit together. Also reach out to @TouchlabHQ directly or in the Kotlin Slack #TouchlabShare
