1 What's the nature of the unbalanced power dynamic between product and engineering such that if product wants something done, engineering will cut corners to get it done (and the corollary that if there are things engineering wants to get done it needs to be hidden from product)

2 Why are product orgs so willing to take on debt to have short term "success" than invest in "long term" success [scare quotes intentionally placed where they are] (and why are orgs so inclined to increase headcount to work around the debt created)
